Starter does not function
(Automatic transmission is in [N] neutral).
If there are complaints for the above vehicles that the start does not function or activate (even though the automatic transmission selector is in [N] neutral), a possible cause could be a failure of the automatic transmission lockout switch.
To remedy this problem, check the automatic transmission lockout switch and replace it if necessary.
