Ford Ranger - new light source does not work

In the case of the above-mentioned vehicles, it may happen that a replaced, new light source does not work. We have already noticed on many vehicles that, after changing the light source, the ignition has to be switched off and on once so that the function can be restored. With this kind of vehicle, the control unit switches off the function if the current consumption of the light source is too high (e.g. if the filament burns out). In order to restore proper functioning, the fault memory has to be deleted after changing the light source.
