In the above vehicles, inadequate discharge of the condensation water in the air-conditioning system can cause water to pool in the passenger footwell.
In some cases, water can get into the air bag control unit and cause the indicator light to illuminate. In extreme cases, the air bag/s can be triggered.
Check and clean out the condensation water outlet; check the air bag device for water entry. Obtain further information on remedies from the auto manufacturer.
