Failure of the central electrics

Power steering, radiator fan and driving-dynamics control not functioning

If the above-mentioned problem is detected, one possible cause may be fuses that have not been installed correctly/in compliance with requirements.

Repair notes

In order to exclude other possible causes of malfunction, electrical and mechanical system tests (in accordance with vehicle manufacturer specifications) and also a fault code query using a suitable diagnostic unit should be carried out.

If no further faults are found, the B+ distributor (fuse box) must be replaced. This is located in the engine compartment on the right (above the battery).
