BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo - Howling noises in the area of the vehicle underbody

If the above-mentioned problem is detected, a possible cause may be too large a gap at the transition between the front and central underbody cover.

Remedy:

• First remove the central underbody protection cover.
• Thoroughly clean the area marked in the picture and fit the foam pad OE No. 16111181918 according to the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
• Refit the central underbody protection cover. 

Finally a test drive should be performed in order to run checks on the repair work.
