Vibrations and noises in different driving situations

The vehicles mentioned above may vibrate and make noise when accelerating, braking or starting. The knocking sounds are perceived as coming from the engine compartment.

The cause could be a defect in the upper right engine mount (engine suspension).

In order to rule out other causes, the engine, wheel and transmission suspension and other components (which could trigger the noise) should be inspected and checked before replacing the engine mount.
