Compressor voltage fault - The buzzing noise occurs when the engine is at idle speed

An undefinable buzzing noise heard in the vehicles mentioned above when the air conditioning is switched off may be caused by the air conditioning compressor.

The buzzing noise occurs when the engine is at idle speed and may be caused by an internal voltage fault in the compressor.

The air conditioning compressor should be replaced to rectify the problem. Before doing so, however, check the wiring for corrosion, loose connections and damage.
