Insufficient light output
On the vehicles mentioned above, customers have complained that the headlamps produce a reduced and insufficient light output.
The reason for this problem is a faulty coating on the headlamp reflectors.
The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models. For various reasons, however, it must be assumed that not all vehicles have been checked or modified.
When the affected vehicles are taken to a specialist garage, the faulty headlamp reflectors are replaced with new ones.
