Engine not running smoothly: Engine check lamp or preheater check lamp lights up
The engine may not be running smoothly in the above-mentioned vehicles. The engine control lamp and/or the preheater control lamp will light up in this process. Fault code P0191 may be saved in the fault memory.
Check all system-relevant electrical and mechanical components, including the power supply to eliminate the issue.
If no fault is identified, the cause may be the pressure sensor of the fuel rail (figure).
After having replaced the sensor, delete the fault memory and go for a test drive.
