Electrical folding exterior mirrors with malfunctions
Some of the above-mentioned vehicles that feature electrical folding exterior mirrors may experience incorrectly functioning exterior mirrors.
Note:
This fault can be caused by the relay for the exterior mirror control. The relay for the exterior mirror control in the affected vehicles must be replaced.
The vehicle manufacturer is already aware of the problem. As part of a service response, the vehicles will be checked and the relays replaced if necessary.
Nevertheless, one may assume that for various reasons not all vehicles have been checked and repaired.
Please take this information into account if there are complaints concerning a malfunction of the electrical folding exterior mirrors.
