In the event of a failure of the passenger compartment fan, the cause may be a defect in the electronic blower controller.
After removing the blower controller, taking a look at the circuit board can often help determine the cause of the fan failure. If the board is burned out (see image), the controller has to be replaced. In addition, the connecting cable and fuse should be checked. Furthermore, the fan should be checked to ensure it can move easily.
Note:
Due to the ground circuit, the blower controller no longer runs without a specified level in the event of a defect.
