Important safety note
Faulty ESP/ABS control unit software may lead to various symptoms in the Fiat 500 X
The following symptoms may occur in the above-mentioned vehicles due to faulty ESP/ABS control unit software:
- Unable to remove ignition key
- ESP lamp lights up when cornering
- Electric parking brake does not disengage with active "Auto-Hold" function
In an effort to rule out other causes, check all possible system components and read out/delete the fault memory.
If no errors are identified, update the ESP/ABS software. For this purpose, it is advisable to contact a Fiat workshop
