Value displayed on coolant temperature gauge is too low.

If these vehicles display an irregular coolant temperature value, the possibility of a bad ground connection to the thermostat housing bracket must be considered. To fix this problem, the ground cable (see figure) should be connected between the thermostat housing and the thermostat housing bracket.
