If refrigerant loss is observed on one of the vehicles listed above, special attention should be paid to the condenser.
Failure of the fins can cause instability in the condenser network. Vibrations can cause contact with other components. This will damage the condenser (Figure 1) and, in some cases, cause it to leak.
The condenser may also come loose from its holder and drop onto the beam (Figure 2). This can also cause leaks.
