Loss of power and an additional stored error code P0093 on the Nissan Navara may be caused by the following
A loss of engine power and rough idling in the vehicles mentioned above may be caused by defective injection valves. An additional stored error code P0093 indicates that there is a pressure drop in the fuel system.
The following steps should be taken to rectify the problem:
- Check fuel lines and fuel filters and replace if necessary
- Check fuel pressure, pressure regulator and injector nozzles using a diagnostic device
- Inspect the catalytic converter for damage caused by unburnt fuel
- Replace defective components
- Clear fault memory
