There have been complaints of a stop lamp failure on the aforementioned vehicles (warning light on instrument cluster lights up).
This problem is caused by a defective stop-lamp switch (soiled silicone on the contacts).
The vehicle manufacturer has already addressed the issue and notified the owners of all the affected models. For various reasons, however, it must be assumed that not all vehicles have been checked or modified.
Specialist garages will replace the defective stop-lamp switch in the affected vehicles with a new one.
To remove the stop-lamp switch, proceed as follows:
