If the engine-check lamp lights up on the vehicles mentioned above and the error code P0603 is stored in the error memory, there are various possible cause. As a first measure, all system-relevant electrical components, including the power supply, electrical connections and ground points should be checked.

In order to remedy the problem, the error memory of the air-conditioning/heating control unit should be read out. If the error code refers to a mechanical error (e.g. B10BE07), a defect of the blower motor could well be the cause.

The pump generates the hydraulic pressure required by the power steering system to make the vehicle easier and more comfortable to steer during driving. When the engine is running and the steering wheel is in the "straight ahead" position, the pump constantly conveys the hydraulic oil through the steering and back again into the expansion tank.
