If on these vehicles there are complaints that the engine runs poorly at idle, or only responds with a delay on acceleration, the problem may be caused by a faulty intake pipe pressure sensor. During faultfinding it should also be checked whether a poor contact in the multiway connector on the intake pipe pressure sensor is causing the symptoms mentioned above. To rectify the fault, the intake pipe pressure sensor must be replaced if it is faulty. If the fault is caused by a connection problem (e.g. caused by vibration) in the multiway connector on the intake pipe pressure sensor, it is possible to fix the sensor using a cable tie, pay attention to the size of the gap (see photo).
