SEG V

The latest-generation device combines the comprehensive data knowledge of diagnostic and lighting experts. All functions of the SEG V can be controlled easily, clearly and intuitively via the 8.4" touch screen facing the user. The unique vehicle recognition uses the car history, for example. The CMOS camera records the headlamp's light distribution and this is evaluated. In near real time, the light distribution is then displayed on the screen with specific data. Using the software based on the mega macs series, vehicle-specific data can already be entered before the measurement. It is also possible to do quick tests without specifying data. After the measurement, the logged measurement data can be transferred to peripheral devices via the USB interface. Thanks to automatic level compensation, slopes and unevenness can be compensated for in both directions of the SEG's installation surface.

SEG IV

Thanks to scaling on the test screen of the SEG IV, all current headlamp systems, such as halogen headlamps, xenon headlamps, LED headlamps and systems with high beam assist (vertical cut-off), can be checked and precisely adjusted. SEG IV is available in DL and DLLX versions.

SEG IV SE

SEG IV SE enables all light distributions to be assessed, incl. adjustment of all brands of forward-thinking headlamp systems. Adjusting headlamps, especially with intelligent high beam assistance systems, is made possible by the test screen using vertical lines. A longer column increases the working range to max. 1650 mm, also allowing the adjustment of high-mounted headlamps. The SEG IV SE is also equipped with a new type of hybrid visor. It consists of a powerful line laser and an analogue sighting device.

Both technologies allow the device to be aligned extremely accurately and at right angles to the vehicle – even in bright surroundings. The combined sighting device ensures 100% operational capability. Thanks to a beam angle of 120°, marker points on the outside can also be targeted, which is particularly advantageous for vehicles with headlamps that are mounted higher (SUVs, vans, etc.)
