Behr Hella Service engaged in large-scale expansion of its thermal management portfolio

Schwäbisch Hall, August 13, 2019. Thermal management expert Behr Hella Service is expanding its product portfolio by around 850 new products for passenger cars, transporters, commercial vehicles and also agricultural and construction machinery. Around half of these are PREMIUM LINE articles, i.e. products turned out by manufacturers with original equipment expertise such as BEHR and VISTEON. And about half of the articles making up the expansion of the range are already available. The other articles will follow in the summer of 2019 or by the end of 2019 at the latest. But all products can already be found in the TecDoc vehicle and spare parts catalogue.

The highlights of the expanded range in the field of vehicle air conditioning include numerous new air conditioning compressors and condensers. In the area of engine cooling, Behr Hella Service now primarily stocks new coolant radiators, charge-air coolers, expansion tanks, low-temperature coolers for indirect charge-air cooling and exhaust gas recirculation coolers.

Special thermal management products designed for electric and hybrid vehicles also make up the new package. In this way an electric air conditioning compressor for the BMW i3, a chiller (special heat exchanger) for the Porsche Panamera and a low-temperature cooler for the BMW 225xe Hybrid play their part in enhancing the revamped range.

In the product area of fan clutches, customers can now choose between PREMIUM LINE and standard articles, picking from a selection of more than 40 products. And what is more, the service parts sector has also been significantly expanded thanks to the addition of almost 60 new screw caps for coolant radiators.
