HELLA celebrates the 10th anniversary of the opening of its lighting plant in Jiaxing

Shanghai, 10 November 2023. HELLA, the automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the opening of its lighting plant in Jiaxing on November 10, 2023. The Jiaxing plant was established in 2012 and put into operation in 2013. Since then, the plant has been committed to providing quality headlamps and modules, rear combination lamps, to both international and local automotive manufacturers. With its operational excellence and superior services, it is now HELLA's largest lighting plant in the Asia-Pacific region. Today, the plant has a total area of 56,000 m2 and around 1,905 employees, 13% of whom work in research and development.

Over the past ten years, the plant has experienced tremendous growth in technological strength and production capability. It possesses world-class manufacturing equipment and technology with a high level of automation. For example, the plant has 18 fully automated production assembly lines, more than 100 collaborative robots and an intelligent quality control system. It enables the production of various high-quality and high-performance lighting products. The plant has an annual production capacity of approximately 4 million headlamps, 5 million rear lamps, and 6 million light modules.
