FORVIA HELLA expands SlimLine product family: Introduction of the LED combination lamp

• From now on, the SlimLine product series will be supplemented by a versatile LED combination lamp
• The new LED combination lamp presents itself in a modern, rectangular design language and combines three lighting functions in a single product
• With the new LED combination lamp, all relevant front light functions in the SlimLine series are now covered

Lippstadt, 5 February 2025. The international automotive supplier FORVIA HELLA has expanded its SlimLine product family, which is geared towards the commercial vehicle sector, with a new LED combination lamp, which is now available for the first time worldwide in the brand-defining rectangular design language of the SlimLine series. The module combines the three light functions of daytime running light, position light and direction indicator light in an elegant rectangular design and is suitable for a wide range and different types of commercial vehicles, including agricultural and construction machinery.

The SlimLine product range already includes advanced solutions such as the Bi-LED low beam and high beam headlamp as well as the LED fog lamp with cornering light. With the addition of the new LED combination lamp, the SlimLine series now covers a total of seven different lighting functions for the front of the vehicle, and thus all relevant ones. FORVIA HELLA launched the first product from the SlimLine series, the SlimLine Bi-LED headlamp, back in 2023 to meet the increasing demands on product design and functionality. "With the introduction of the newly developed LED combination lamp, we are further diversifying our portfolio and offering our customers a comprehensive selection of high-quality lighting solutions," explains Stefan van Dalen, Managing Director Lifecycle Solutions at FORVIA HELLA.

The slim design of the LED combination lamp allows for easy integration into different vehicle architectures. The lamp is available in both ECE and SAE versions, which comply with European and US market standards, respectively. This versatility allows for wide application in different regions. In addition, the LED combination lamp offers two connector variants: the FEP and DEUTSCH DT connectors, which provides flexibility to integrate into different vehicles and meet specific customer requirements. Made of impact-resistant polycarbonate, the lamp resists strong vibrations and operates in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +60°C, making it a reliable and suitable choice for demanding applications.

The SlimLine product family from FORVIA HELLA offers versatile solutions for front lighting: The Bi-LED low beam and high beam module was the first rectangular module in the FORVIA HELLA portfolio and provides uniform illumination with just under 1,000 lumens in the low beam. Individual design is possible thanks to the flexible headlamp bezels. The LED fog lamp with cornering light provides precise light in curves and in fog. The new LED combination lamp now completes the SlimLine range.
