In 1997, HELLA set up a representative office for independent aftermarket and special OE to explore China market. In 2001, the representative office upgraded to a solely-invested company - HELLA Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

As the only sale company of HELLA Group in China, HELLA Trading （Shanghai）Co., Ltd is responsible for sales business of HELLA products in Chinese automotive aftermarket and building the network of dealer and distributor from aftermarket. HCN provides product technical service and sales support, meanwhile, we are also in charge of improving the HELLA brand image in China aftermarket.

The sales market is divided into automotive aftermarket, workshop equipments and special OE by HCN. For satisfying customers'needs HCN also innovatively divided the sales channel into traditional and modern channel in aftermarket. Except special OE market HCN sales the product areas: spare parts, wearing parts, accessories and equipment & tools. Nowadays there are over 200 authorized dealers of HELLA in nearly 30 provinces of China.

In 2015 the franchise project “HELLA Auto Service Center” was launched. HELLA franchise project is a concept, “parts + tools + services”.
